I just joined this community, because I am interested in learning more about French culture and the language. I took three years of French in high school, and although that was about 10 years ago I try to keep it up, because my boyfriend of several years is French. I am interested in teaching ESL there in about a year, because I want really want to live there for a while! Also, I miss my boyfriend. . . I am currently teaching ESL in Korea and am certified in TESOL.

Ok, now that the introduction is over, I have a (most likely random-sounding) question.

Is there anyone here who is pursuing/has pursued any sort of graduate degree in musicology or music theory? I'm interested to hear more about that, and how it's like in France. I have undergraduate degrees in music history and German, and a masters in music history.
